10 examples of excellent product photography

The presentation of your products, in most cases, will make or break your website. If you have some amazing product pictures, people will stick around and browse. Many times it will seal the deal. And, as I have mentioned before, you can have an amazingly designed website that will look mediocre if your product pictures are not so great.

Below we have a few examples of some amazing product photography. We made sure to choose from some of the amazing Boutique websites that Amy from Simply Creative and I have each designed. We hope you enjoy them!

Dabney Lee at Home

Amazing presentation here… another site with clean, neat pictures. (totally loving these stroller covers too!) The pictures are large enough to get a good feel for the products and complimentary to the site design.

Francie Pants

Here we have a website that sells the same product in several different colors/pattterns. They have a Virtual Dressing room using an illustrated girl to show you what the product looks like, then for the actual product photography, they have close up swatches. Perfect! You get a good look at the fabric choices and you can play a bit in the Virtual Dressing room if you want.

Agreed! There are so many ways to make your products look better without having to hire a professional.

When I started blogging I only had an old point and shoot that didn’t work well in low-light situations, and anything other than outside at noon was considered a low-light situation. I ended up getting a tripod, turning OFF the flash & correcting photos in photoshop or iphoto. Funny thing is, people would ask me what kind of camera I had, like I had something fancy. Really it was all about taking photos in natural light, with few background distractions.

Terrific! I’m very jealous of those images, I wish I could do as well. Those images took a lot of talent to produce, well done. I’ve bookmarked this site.
